My earliest memory of him is when he repeatedly bullied Chelsea Clinton - who was 12 or 13 at the time - by referring to her as the White House dog. More than once.
Saw the headline and said “YES!!!”
I am not unhappy, it seems. I have dancing feet, I think...
Too little too late, cancer.
It’s the mindset that tries to characterize the Social Security system people pay into as a welfare scam, even though it’s cool your grandparents get a check every month.
He’s already railing against everyone that voted to convict and even McConnell, who voted to acquit. But McConnell is doing some weird dance where he’s trying to appease Trump supporters by not voting to throw him on his ass, but then condemning him... to appease his opponents?
As always, the right to free speech has never been absolute. Formenting an insurrection against your own government? Not free speech.
Parler’s not just for Nazis, it’s also for people who are Nazi-curious.
*rolls dice* Nahtzee!
As much as I’ve enjoyed hearing almost nothing about Trump since the inauguration, I was hoping he’d make one more major news appearance by getting convicted for sedition.
It is nice how the evening news doesn’t start every single broadcast with the constitutional crisis of the day.
It really is surprising how he’s disappeared. Trump is an egomaniacal narcissist who could go on Hannity or Tucker or Judge Janine or any other show on Fox or OANN or Newsmax and have an adoring anchor lob him softball questions, at any time he wanted! He could have his own network! That was the original plan, wasn’t…
I’d say... yes and no. I think Twitter is heavily referenced in the news media because it allows journalists to sit on their butt while hot takes come to them instead of chasing down stories and quotes the hard way. It’s definitely omnipresent as a source for news stories, especially online.
He fell out of the mainstream but his YouTube account remains and is apparently where he is maximizing his output now.
Are we sure they’re Nazis and not Nazees?
I LOOOOVED Buffy, really enjoyed his Marvel stuff, and in general have been a fan. At this point I am no longer a fan. It isn’t surprising that a director is an asshole and everything that is being said about him tracks with stories of “difficult” directors that I have heard before (I have no connection to the…
Yea, this statement confused me. This is the reckoning. Right now. We’re watching it unfold in real time. I don’t see Whedon fans lining up to defend him, if anything we (yes, I was one) feel incredibly betrayed and grossed out by all this. The only question now is how much worse can it get, given Trachtenberg’s…
