Do NOT believe the GOP at all. It’s all performative.

Yeah, he’s a “doctor” in the same way those guys in top hats who drove around covered wagons selling snake oil were physicians.

I don’t think he has any board certification. I don’t think Kentucky requires one for Ophthalmologists. There was a dustup about this a few years ago, but I’m not sure if I recall the details accurately.

I do believe that Dr. Fauci is tired of the idiocy that is surrounding all of this pandemic stuff. Rightly so. Good for him for that sick ass burn.

Can we take up a collection to get his neighbor to finish the job?

There’s always a possibility for his superhuman patience to be recognized in the next admin!

Over 200K people now have absolute total immunity! Touché, so-called ‘doctor’ Fauci!”

His response was so savage Honey Badger gives one fuck about it.

How Fauci keeps going through all this dumb-fuckery amazes me. If anybody deserves a Presidential medal it is this guy, although I wouldn’t hold my breath unless doing so would get Cheeto a few more votes.

It tests for detectable antibodies for up to 6 months. However even after they reach undetectable levels, it doesn’t mean your body has forgotten how to manufacture more. As for whether you can get it again, we just don’t know for sure yet. It’s certainly not common.

if you believe 22 percent is herd immunity, I believe you’re alone in that.”

I would say that the board that certified Dr. Paul should take away his license, but then I remembered that Rand Paul certified himself with a bogus licensing board he made up himself.

“THIS HAPPENS WITH SENATOR RAND ALL THE TIME”

As someone who actually does research for a living, it annoys me to no end how conspiratorial thinking is framed as “research.” To your point, though, online literacy and healthy skepticism are learned skills, ones that many people do not even develop until graduate school (full disclosure, I’m definitely guilty of

Framing how you counter it is just as important. For instance, my father-in-law is very Pro-Trump, very into passing around things on facebook, etc. and no college education, no natural skepticism beyond buying into conspiracies . I’ve had to sit him down and contextualize it. For instance, the “Coronavirus is a hoax

All three of you are wrong.

A true pedant would say fewer than ten thousand.

If I were getting that pedantic (and I do, on occasion, whilst sipping sherry in a smoking jacket), I would point out that there’s less than ten thousand pictured duckies in that photo, so I wouldn’t use myriad at all.

My issue with the word myriad isn’t that it’s “a myriad of” whatever.
