Possibly. With all the rumours about "Titan X" that time might be coming sooner rather than later.

SSDs are a big change in terms of performance, but not a huge change when it comes to actually building the PC.
We actually investigated RAM use here: We actually investigated RAM use here:
Only one way to find out :)
Use MSI Afterburner to check your before and after temperatures. To save yourself some effort, don't bother removing the fan to test the "without fan" scenario. Just unplug it and see how things go.
Try some headphone as a diagnostic step. If it sounds bad no matter what EQ settings you're using, it could be something other than the sound card.
Sorry I think that PSU might not be okay for your system. Not all "750W" power supplies are created equal. I've got some good tips about PSU shopping here:
Yes bridgeless crossfire will still work :)
As for your power supply yeah it'll be fine. It wouldn't hurt to check power consumption at the wall under load once you've got it set up to make sure though - especially if you plan to do any overclocking.
ARK is your friend. The compare tool lets you easily compare CPUS :)
A new board is VERY unlikely to fix your overclocking woes. If you really want more performance you'll need to go Intel or wait for AMD to release something a bit more competitive (roadmap says 2016)
The Define R5 and Phanteks Enthoo Pro are solid choices :)
Heh. I would have some fun with it until it dies. Those old nForce reference design boards, man.......
The good news is that as long as that board lasts, that rig will likely handle whatever you throw at it, especially with the quad core in there!
970 is a killer card right now.
A HUGE mistake that lots of people make is buying componetns one by one. In most cases it's better to wait until you have your whole budget saved up then buy at the same time unless you see some kind of REALLY exceptional deal. The PC hardware industry moves so fast that a "sale" this week is often next week's…
The PC is definitely heading to the pocket. As more and more services become tied to an individual rather than a machine (Office 365, cloud storage, Adobe Creative Cloud) I think people's expectations are going to continue to shift to the point where they want their whole experience to move around with them.
1. This is a big challenge. Frankly I don't have an answer for you. A partnership with a local retailer might be one way to do it?
It's a heck of a lot better than my first build, which featured 512MB of RAM and onboard graphics.. so you're doing better than I was when I was first starting out. You DEFINITELY want to get hooked up with an SSD at some point, but other than that I think you'll be mid-range gaming for quite some time.
The main benefit of liquid cooling graphics cards is noise. If the noise from the fans of your grpahics cards is bothering you, then it's time to go water. If it's not, then.... you might be better off saving your money :)
Heh. Sorry we don't have stickers.... yet....
We generally don't go out of our way to slam a budget product unless it's something that's obviously designed to take advantage of people who don't know better.
I can only make so many videos, and I think I serve our community best by making videos about the stuff that's actually interesting and WORTH spending money on.
yep!! You're going to be blown away... The 970 is not only newer, it occupies a much higher position in the current line up than the 750 ever did!
