I thought Tiny Furniture was pretty good. I liked it. Girls, not so much. Flawed characters are great, but I want to like flawed characters in spite of their flaws, not be beaten over the head with how I should like them because of their flaws. It doesn't work that way.

And its not that I dislike Lena Dunham; more power to her for becoming successful.

Oh my god...Girls IS Catcher in the Rye! Both center around insufferable, whiny, assholes who I can't stand, yet somehow everyone talks about them like it's the second coming of Jesus and the pinnacle of entertainment. They both blow.

For reals. When I was 16, I was wondering why people kept telling me that I should relate to Holden Caulfield. Guy is an asshole. Now that I'm 30, I have to relate to Lena Dunham? Am I terrible because I relate most to Clueless-era Paul Rudd? I think I'm a Josh.

I heard that if you say Lena Dunham's name 3 times while looking in the mirror your Twitter account gets optioned by HBO.

Does it have to be shampoo though? As a naturally curly gal, I follow the no poo approach. But your Hello Hydration product is the bomb. Seriously, my kinky hair sings as soon as I co-wash my hair with it. Let me do a video on that product and you got yourself a testimonial.

Aisha Tyler as the new "Spengler"(brain) would be THE BEST.

What about Lana.....Lana..... LAAAAAAAAANAAAAAAAAAA?

Fellow Detroiter here... I have heard the same thing. Usually from suburban whites.

l am a leaf on the wind :(

Oh, you'll suffer. But it's definitely as good as the series.

If this doesn't end with McCarthy battling Slimer, I feel like I'm going to have this weird hole in my movie-loving spirit. It's a thing that must happen. I would also throw my support to Aubrey Plaza because durrrr.

Fuck. If I had ever met Peter Falk, I probably wouldn't have been able to shut up about Wings of Desire. Also, a plane ride with any of the Kids in the Hall would be glorious.

Wow, that is actually pretty lucrative. As a grad student 75k/year makes me think of this:

Trouser Jazz is the best part.

He was in Buffy. HE WAS IN BUFFY. I can't believe it. I WATCHED THAT EPISODE NOT ONE WEEK AGO AND I DIDN'T REALISE!!

Yes. We are the same person and this is some Orphan Black shit.

While this case is horrible and the boys completely deserve to be punished, you are crossing into dangerous territory when you say the other students "probably knew" what was happening. You have no idea what the other students at the party knew or did not know, and it is pretty irresponsible to imply that all of the

It's not indulging when she sends me all these amazing links! Your mom is the best!

I have to say: I never, ever understood what it really meant for something to be "triggering" until I started following this incident, tried to read Rodger's "manifesto," and learned more about the conversations/cultures on these forums.
