Yes, it was my feeling during the primaries and the general election campaign with respect to Trump’s popularity too. The public have to take their share of the blame for consuming what he’s selling.

People can blame the Kardashians all they like if it makes them fell better about consuming the product the Kardashians put out there. They wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the American public.

Yeah, as I hope was clear in my comment, I’m pretty ambivalent about that perspective. I just felt like it needed to be pointed out and considered, if not necessarily endorsed. Others have responded with articulate defenses that are also worth consideration.

I think the reason I’m likely most bothered by the idea is that I doubt that the family member who abused her will ever see prison. Taking down the video feels like the first step in sweeping the matter under the rug.
