It took 3 weeks to label the murder of multiple African Americans in a church by Dylan Roof a hate crime. 3 weeks... lets give it a couple of days before we feed into the false “if it was a white guy” narrative.

No, racism has a very real definition and it has NOTHING TO DO WITH POWER. Racism means discriminating against someone based on race. That’s it. End of story.

I do not envy these people. It’s raw and sensitve as hell and no matter what choice they make it’ll be the wrong one to a number of people.

Any unneeded anatomy is selected against, because there’s always some metabolic cost to produce and maintain it, and if it’s not producing a greater benefit that’s a net negative to fitness.
