Great game, outdated graphics. It looks like an HD rerelease of a PS2 game.

All characters in Xillia sounded like they had their voices recorded through a radio-station setup. The voices were overlapping the game rather than being in the space the characters were in, and the voice acting was often pretty stale, especially with Milla though I did like her voice in itself.
Mega64 predicts the future!
I felt that way too, until I forced myself to give it a chance. The payoff is worth it and I will forever regard this as being one of the best franchises of all time, simply because OoT, Majora's Mask and this game are so spectacular once you get to the parts when they really shine.
I never really disliked sailing around so I don't get why the fetch quest is so hated. It's tedious sure and I quit the game for two months when I got to it but it's not like I look back at it thinking "that part ruined the entire game" because it didn't. Everything else was fucking pitch perfect to my taste and…
I have to disagree. To me it feels like once you've beaten one of them it puts a curse upon you and you'll never be able to enjoy another one of them because they're ultimately too similar
I don't agree. I've played Partners In Time and that was amazing, but right now I'm playing Dream Team Bros and it's plain terrible imo. The tutorials kill the game and no RPG mechanics can make up for that bs.
The bloom is still fugly.
Video game journalism is getting worse and worse.
And you know this because?
Am I the only one who thinks half of these titles are IOS or Android games? Look at the names, they're too generic to be true sequels.
Yeah so far for me as well.
Thinking about this, Sucker Punch already had a fair share of problems with creating a satisfying protagonist. Cole from InFamous 2 underwent some serious design changes before they went with it, because people reacted poorly to the first design they saw.
Yeah, terrible design for the protagonist. I even liked InFamous 2 cole better, and I thought he was a big smart-ass idiot.
Yeah, but it didn't really happen by itself. All the glitches above are examples from when you take the left bit of the cartridge slightly out of the slot. The sounds cracks and the graphics start glitching up.
So far it looks like an upgrade of the graphics of InFamous 1 and 2, but the particle effects takes it to a whole other level.
Seriously fuck guys who thinks it needs to change! That's why the MGS fanbase is so dedicated! If there's anything I would never like to see with MGS it was if the franchise became the next big american-style AAA blockbuster game where the story is all about dumb platitudes and unbelievable set-piece moments. I like…
The series should never get rid of its over-exposition! It's just Hideo's Style and I find it funny to poke fun at how much elaboration he thinks his playerbase needs to understand the story. It makes it more confusing than it does the game good, but I find it to be part of what makes the series so recognizable and…
Lol, I thought the title read "why this open-world game had no future". :P
I'll have to agree with this dude. I did actually find some elements of Halo 4 touching, but I still think it felt like a story that was meant to be told in a completely new franchise or ip instead of being forced over the Halo ip. Honestly Master Chief is what you might call "out of character" in Halo 4, and in…
