I always care the most for the games' story and that's why i don't usually play JRPGs. It feels like manga where it's just an ocean of different games that are all full of the same things. There is just some japanese storytelling tropes that i quickly grew tired of. Almost any anime/manga-type story ends up being the

Yeah, i lost all interest in returning after i saw how it played with F2P. It greatly cheapens an MMO to have those things in it.

Agreed. I couldn't care less for CGI trailers, and it infuriates me that some people are fauning over them and are getting tricked to buy a game because of a fancy and flashy trailer.

Exactly my thoughts. There is a huge distinguish between what Bungie has been doing and what Infinity Ward/Activision has been doing with their franchises. I don't feel like associating Halo with CoD.

They left out the GPU specs just like Nintendo did with the specs they didn't want to reveal with the Wii U because it showed they were indeed inferior to those of the competitors. It's pretty much already official that Xbox One is likely to have less than 1.8 TFlops.

But i don't wanna see Apollo or his gang in this game!!! I hated Apollo Justice. It had the worst, most convoluted story of all AA games and the characters were just half-assed clones.

Agree with everything you said. I can't stand it when i see VG journalists state how they "loved seeing Elizabeth grow as a character". That's bullshit. She doesn't even feel like a proper character. I though all the character interactions were melodramatic at best.

Bioshock infinite. Maybe not so much the game itself, but the pedestal everyone is putting it on. It isn't THAT good imo. The ending made everything so much better, but for me those 9 hours leading up to the ending was a complete and utter chore. In the end i only liked the game for its introduction and ending. The

They came crashing down like the narrative did in that game. The more i thought about it the more i hated it.

Yeah, we just got Hitman AND Catherine, and it's just been one, or maybe half a month since we got Okami. I have gotten around 10-15 new games over the last year for free. Sucks to be you hehehe!

I'd suggest you get 1 and 2 and then buy 3 if you want more. It's just that... Mass Effect 3 doesn't really have the same magic, and the ending is a mess.

Just ignore it if you want. I personally feel sad whenever i see another kotaku post about something Mass Effect, because it reminds me how, not just the ending, but so many other things dissapointed me when i played Mass Effect 3. Bioware lost many key crew between 1, 2 and 3 and in 3 more people felt it. Especially

From most of his statements i don't really think Cage is all that structured or just not very analytical. I think he's the same kind of writer as the current lead writer of the Mass Effect franchise, who just seems to write whatever he thinks is good, independent of whether it's consistent with the game's

Really cool they're making a sequel to ALttP but reusing the same boss-design is just lazy rather than nostalgic.

Glad i won't be using the touch-screen to control Link in this one, but i'm dissapointed that they decided to go with yet another 3D top-down view game. I didn't fully enjoy the DS titles, but it was also because the levels looked dull and the story was pretty bad imo.

I know you are reading these lovely articles, tributes and whatnot for your awesome franchise Bioware! But i think one thing most of us have in common when this topic of villainy is brought up is this: "PLEASE DO AVOID SCRIPTED DEFEATS IN FUTURE GAMES"

I always thought Kai Leng belonged in to comics. He's not a realistic villian to the ME universe, and he doesn't even try to convince us that he's a good villain because he has no character.

Reminds me of an awesome adventure game/interctive novel for the DS called Hotel Dusk. Amazing character designs because they used rotoscoping. I really like that effect.

He just had another voice actor.

What are you saying!? The RPG elements are better? How can you say that when the Dialogue-system and mission structure got screwed in that game? You got more than twice the amount of auto-dialogue and you never get neutral dialogue options but once in the game.
