I gather from everyone’s input that you’re correct. He did an engine swap with a wrecker motor from Japan which he claimed was about 20 hp better, but I don’t know which engine that was. Maybe the same engine with JDM programming?

I love the look of the Opel GT, but never had a chance to drive one. I think we’re basically in agreement here. I was just following bee’s line of discussion that cheap bikes are fun. I don’t disagree that new bikes are a lot of fun, too. Of course OP should continue to review new or upcoming bikes - nobody wants to read about my ‘99.
