Carbeque is a southern tradition!
Sadly, the time has passed. Probably my highest-voted comment though :)
His was a cool car as well. He got he wiring sorted out with some sort of hackjob wiring harness, but it wasn’t pretty. Ended up selling it and I never see the car locally anymore.
You could write articles about the stuff you do instead while the Aston is in the shop.
Also, if we’re going to rip on the Aston consistently, you should give it a nickname, like Andre from ‘the League’
I’m 30 and enjoy spending as little time around the DMV/MTO/etc as possible.
Alfas produce so much cool it condenses into liquid. You just witnessed the car unloading extra cool.
“Safe”should be in all caps, so the reader says it in their mind like an umpire.
I gather from everyone’s input that you’re correct. He did an engine swap with a wrecker motor from Japan which he claimed was about 20 hp better, but I don’t know which engine that was. Maybe the same engine with JDM programming?
0.05 in Canada, too. It doesn’t stop everyone from from drink-driving, but it does induce more caution than 0.08 (the old limit) does.
But, America. The land of guns and DUI. Don’t try to modify their favourite things, or else.
Just playing devil’s advocate, but clearly that guy didn’t know what was best for him...
absolutely. I used to work for a company that religiously screwed it’s staff unless they threatened to leave, and after a couple of “other job offer” raises, they eventually tell you there’s no more in the well.
What’s the point of falsifying sales numbers? SO you can put “best seller in x segment”? Because that is completely irrelevant when I’m car shopping.
Depends on the motor and the manufacturer. Preludes with (k20 I think) engines consumed oil so much that my buddy checked (and often topped off) his every time he bought gas. He wrenches Hondas for a living and said for that engine it was pretty normal and ‘within spec’ from Honda. Impalas from 06-?? come with an…
I love the look of the Opel GT, but never had a chance to drive one. My neighbour tried to sell me his 1973 which had new electrics and had been repainted “Mazda Competition Yellow” (he says), which was a fantastic metallic yellow. Sadly, I was 15 at the time and didn’t have the money to make it happen.
Which, in the absence of available windshield wipers, they will apply to the car using another layer of water/ice.
The magnetic suspension was probably added to keep the corks from popping all over that interior. #priorities
The aromatherapy bit better be burned rubber, or aged leather.
Not sure if I like the look, but I do like that Buick could be making something of interest.
How long until the Tapout edition?
“light years ahead of” can be applied anytime you’re talking about any generation of Corvette against it’s father, especially when you’re talking chassis.
I think we’re basically in agreement here. I was just following bee’s line of discussion that cheap bikes are fun. I don’t disagree that new bikes are a lot of fun, too. Of course OP should continue to review new or upcoming bikes - nobody wants to read about my ‘99.
I don’t follow lanesplitter closely, but maybe there…
