I wrote that comment over 2 years ago. Why do people do this? It’s cool that you have a different opinion than me, but at this point you’re complaining to complain.

I agree completely, and this isn’t how it works on other sub-sites of gizmodo media properties. Sites like io9, Skillet, Very Smart Brothas, and The Concourse are essentially independent properties from their respective sites, and as such they have their own voice and POV.
My main issue is that there seems to be so little rhyme or reason to where things are posted and when. If I knew, “this feature will always be posted here around ?:00", I could work with that, but this whole site is a nightmare now. Some articles seem to get straight up lost.
A tiny piece of me likes Before the Storm more than Life is Strange because I find Chloe so much more interesting and relatable. I mostly tolerated how wishy-washy Max was in the first game, but I really enjoy how clearly defined Chloe is. She’s pure teen angst, but in a way that feels true to life. Everything is the…
Despite my previous stance I picked up the first episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm. I realized we don’t have spoiler tags anymore (*sigh*) so I won’t actually get into the plot, but I think it’s a worthy successor, even if it’s a little superfluous. Plus Chloe is a much more interesting protagonist than…
Well, you taught me something today. I didn’t even realize VSB had been a separate site from The Root.
Oh jeeze, did The Root use Disqus before it moved here, or are you another AVClub Exile?
I’d get it if I didn’t JUST get the remastered version last year. I still might get it for Switch, but I won’t until it’s really cheap.
Patricia, this is the first article I’ve seen about this game that really sold me. I thought it sounded superfluous to LiS, but I actually stopped reading because I decicded I would prefer to play myself.
That’s a series that’s always intrigued me, but I’ve never given it a real shot. I’m hoping there’ll be a mainline game on Switch that I can try which won’t be bogged down by the 3ds’s limitations.
He was always a lovely guest on Gilmore Guys, too.
I was pretty annoyed that merging my account (which I was hesitant to do) meant I was unfollowed by every other gizmodo media site that that had previously been following me. It wasn’t just detrimental to my experience here, it was detrimental to my experience on Kotaku, Gizmodo, and Lifehacker.
Thanks, guys. I appreciate it.
They’re meant to appeal to kids, but there’s nothing about them that’s particularly appealing to that demographic. As a kid they bothered me because I knew I was supposed to find them funny, but I didn’t, and I couldn’t understand the point of the (unsettling) makeup and costumes. It didn’t make sense, and it still…
Was that dragon promoting anything in particular? It’s a pretty impressive sight.
My aunt and uncle have eaten at his restaurants multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The Beef Wellington is always good, as well.
I guess if they called this, American Horror Story: Clowns of Washington no one would have watched. I’m disappointed there hasn’t been any hint of an actual cult yet, and no a “cult of personality” does not count.
I feel like there has to be a twist of some sort, the question is how long they string us along before getting there.
I haven’t watched AHS since Freak Show, but I might come back for Roanoke even if I end up fizzling out on this season. So thanks for that recommendation at least!
Yep, exactly, and I sent them an email. Sorry you’re in the grays here :(
