Sure, but the religious figures were portrayed as controlling and generally less than savory characters that didn't necessarily have their disciples' best interests at heart. It might be "pro-God" or "pro-spiritualism" in a broader sense, but I don't think organized religion came out looking so hot.

The fact that any conservatives are fans of TNG or DS9 is astonishing.

Before anyone accuses Doctor Who of pandering to women… well…

I agree. Easily the low point of the season for me.

I’ve noticed the people I’m playing with are consistently worse than me, and I really suck so we’re losing a lot (I am team cake). I did fine in the placement matches, and after that I started getting killed a lot more.

I agree, season 3 was the high point for me, and the more the Lorelai/Rory dynamic shifted, the more the show suffered. That said, Gilmore Girls is very much like Buffy for me in the sense that even "mediocre" episodes are still enjoyable and fun. There are very few episodes I'd turn my nose up to, even season 6

She also blamed her lateness on her mom not waking her up, right?

I think most of them stay fun up until the bitter end (even very flawed characters like Lorelai and Emily have redeeming qualities and believable motives).

His bachelor pad is so creepy, though! And the dog that just sits there, staring.

Yeah, I totally agree. It's just… one step too far. Or two. Or three. And I think they could have made it work, but the fact that other college girls (who we never see again) are fawning over how COOL Lorelai is doesn't check at all. That or they'd be like, "Ugh, this Rory kid is so lame. We want to party with her mom

That said, it's one of the last episodes where Rory and Lorelai still have that kind of mother/daughter dynamic so while I don't love wedging Lorelai into the Yale story, I appreciate that it's one of the few episodes like this in season 4. From this point forward the two of them are apart a lot more - to the show's

HOLY SHIT YES YES YES!

Cool, I just added you.

I had the soundtrack in middle school, and I still know every song by heart. Embarrassingly, I didn't realize "Start Me Up" had been a Stones song, at first.

I agree on the stick placement (although I think they feel better when I'm holding them seperately). I'd have honestly preferred them to both be at the same level, but then you couldn't have the "two single player controllers" thing. I noticed the stick on mine can get a little squeaky when I'm trying to do a lot of

I’m hoping that needing that crazy accessory will keep most players away from chat. I’m another female gamer, and I stay away from 90% of multiplayer games because of this kind of toxicity. The other big exception for me is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe which - not a coincidence - lacks voice chat.

Also, I don't think I added you as a friend yet?

*immediately boots up demo again*

I always had a soft spot for A Mighty Wind, personally.

Counterpoint: Jurassic Park 2 still has dinosaurs.
