I'm worried that character is actually Spock somehow.

So… wait. Is this not a kid's show?
I've heard of this song but can't bring myself to watch it because I love Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. What makes it so cringe-y?
I know this is just the trailer, but the tone is enough to put me off. Maybe the show will be lighter than the trailer, maybe there will be less action, but if the tone is this dour, I'm out.
That's an opinion I don't see often! I think the movies are dull as dirt (sorry), but I'll admit the show is extremely significant and has many classic episodes. Even if I don't care for the show as a whole, there are episodes I enjoy.
But he's STEM!
As someone who likes TNG, DS9, and Voyager but isn't too keen on TOS or the movies, I think the TNG is a better starting point, or at least TOS if someone wants to experience the original crew.
Ya know what, screw this show. At this point I don't even want to get invested because I know I'll inevitably get disappointed. This is everything I was worried about, and the antithesis of what I liked about TNG and DS9. I want optimistic Star Trek, not fighter ships. I want species learning to work together, not…
I wanted to get into Oblivion, but the leveling system and the Oblivion gates always kept me from getting invested. From what I remember, all enemies scale to your current level, which wouldn't be a big deal, except leveling non-combat skills also increased your overall level. This can lead to situations where you're…
"I am sensing frustration from the audience"
That too.
They also serve as the exact same plot devices that shuttles would. Transporters conveniently breaking down? Shuttles can too. Not enough people can fit on the transporter? Oh no the shuttle is too heavy to take off! We have to leave one person behind. Etc. The only difference is that the transporter saves production…
From what I've read, the teleporter was created to save money, and it's really not a deus ex machina the way it's written. Trek and Wars are very different, and although Trek is ostensibly about discovering new worlds, it's not a show about travel. Therefore, nothing's really lost by cutting out scenes of ships…
OK, but nothing about this picture reads as Star Wars or Star Trek. If someone showed me this photo and asked, "What series do you think this is from?" I'd have no idea because it's so fucking generic.
Sand? More like BLAND.
You get one chance to check your phone in a theater. If you're phone has been vibrating multiple times, you can check it once to see if there's a problem that needs to be dealt with, and after that you either turn it off or leave the theater.
Literally no theater near me is like that. I usually sit in the front at because if I'm in the back, I can see every person in front of me who is using their phone. It should be a small annoyance, but it takes me out of the movie every single time it happens, and then I'm focusing on some rude jerk instead of the…
Oh, you!
"I hate that old-school platformer thing in which your character has to accelerate before being able to jump the max height/distance, and then takes a full unit of space to come to a stop. I was constantly crashing into enemies and falling off ledges."
