As infuriating as I find the parents, I'm almost as mad at CPS. They'd been called on these monsters before, and the the parents even bragged about it in a video. The only reason they're getting investigated again is because Philip DeFranco made a video that got millions of views, and while I applaud DeFranco, I weep

Does anyone find the casting of certain characters a little distracting? There was a line in this episode specifically where Troy's dad chastised him for drinking champagne. I thought it was because he was a conservative dude and was worried it would paint his son in a bad light. Instead, it was because this guy is

Fun fact, these brands joined together for an ill advised Phantom Menace marketing campaign in which each mascot somehow participated in the battle of Naboo. The only problem (well, one of the many problems) was that Pizza Hut didn't have a mascot, so they introduced the generically named Pizza Hut Girl specifically

No joke, I ventured to my local LJS because I was feeling particularly masochistic that night (OK, I just wanted some hush puppies), and the drive through "window" consisted of a dumbwaiter with large plastic cup in which you were supposed to deposit your payment. It was the fast food equivalent of The Lorax. You

I’ve had mine since launch and I’m quite pleased with the purchase, even if there aren’t enough games for it yet. I knew that would be the case going in, but it’s still annoying to only have one game to play since March (I’ll get MK8 eventually). That said, the system itself is good enough that I’d like to play a lot

He also has a weirdly anti-pet stance, and seems to assume most people will suddenly stop loving them as much when they (inevitably) have kids.

Unfortunately, that's the impression I got too. I was kind of hoping he was joking and would still be on board for another show, but I respect that he stuck with it this long.

I haven't been listening to Bunhead Bros either, but it sounds like neither of them are that into it. I think the show needs the "super fan/ newcomer" dynamic to work, so it just feels sad when Kevin's not into something.

The first jjh episode I heard was the Bat Brothers one, and nothing ever managed to top it.

I was really into Professor Blastoff for a while, but fell off the wagon the year after Tig recorded Live. By that point it was clear everyone's priorities had shifted and it was a lot less fun.

I've been trying to get into Blank Check for months, but couldn't figure out what Podmassers saw in it. I couldn't figure out the rapport between Griffen and David, and it was often hard to tell when they were being sincere.

There's no bigger oxymoron than "conservative comedians".

And their profit margin depends on exploiting the few customers rich enough (and with big enough gambling addictions) to sustain the business. That's the reason there are special benefits for big spenders, they want to keep these in their casinos so they can lose more money.

Honestly, he's probably a sociopath.

1) Social anxiety can lead to panic attacks, and those certainly make you feel like you're about to die. I don't believe they can kill you on their own, but they're often a symptom of other issues. If you kill yourself because of something embarrassing, would that count?

It's also perfectly legal to throw out customers who have an edge of some sort (I'm referring to card counting, not outright cheating).

I'm starting to think he's not the most ethical guy.

Starbucks is one of the few coffees I dislike. It tastes burnt to me.

And price wise, it’s the same as Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds, so it’s not even worth the “savings”. I guess I don’t understand who this product is for.

I won’t begrudge others for their food preferences, but it’s clear that I don’t have the ability to tell “good coffee” from “bad”, therefore I’ll stick with Folgers from a drip coffee pot. And I drink my coffee black, so it’s not a matter of covering up offensive notes. I just don’t mind it.
