This is probably a dumb question considering the "collect-a-thon" description, but just how much collecting is required? Keep in mind you're speaking with a person who never bothers attempting the collection side quests in any other game.

I hope they find some way to get around Johnny Depp being in the sequel.

I still love Crash, but I'm not sure how well the series would hold up if I didn't grow up with those games. I think they're great, but I'm not so sure a newcomer would.

I still want to play this, but I'll wait for a steep discount I think (I never got into Banjo Kazooie so the cards are stacked against me).

What kind of smiley is that??

I picked up Zelda again, which had the unfortunate side effect of making Mass Effect look that much worse. I unlocked all the areas on the map, found all the memories, and have one last divine beast to beat. I also have about 30 more shrines, but I'm at the point where I have to use a map to find them which is a bit

I've noticed a cycle with rebooted franchises. First the response is generally favorable to the point where long time fans are criticized for being too nostalgic about the thing they love. Then a few weeks later, everyone seems to be saying, "That reboot was OK, but it sure had flaws." Finally we reach phase 3 where

Crt, damn phone.

It's really just a personal preference of mine. I'd rather play retro games on a busted old ctr display too.

How’s the input lag with this sort of rig? I heard the newer entries for PS4/Xbone really suffer from the audio lag inherent in transmitting sound over HDMI. This seems to add yet another layer of potential lag on top of that, so I’d worry the experience would suffer.

I think it's easier to stay funny when your characters are assholes. We know these guys aren't going to learn from their problems so we accept they're still horrible even after learning "lessons" in the previous episode. Also, the fact that the writers know their characters are assholes allows they to actually play to

I know you're kidding, but I don't think a service industry worker deserves to be penalized because they were forced off the plane that would ensure they'd make their next shift. It's a terrible situation for anyone with obligations to meet. The fact that he's a doctor just got this story more lip service.

Throw most of the Bush administration in there too. I'm still mad that Bush is becoming a "lovable grandpa figure" to a bunch of young people instead of the war criminal that he (and Cheney) are.

So far my favorite (well, least favorite) internet response has been the that of Jezebel's commenters. I don't believe they covered it yesterday, but Gizmodo did and the commenters were all pretty civil - at least as far as I read. However, the first comment on Jezebel was criticizing Gizmodo, and the second comment

Oh no, has Mr. Burns fallen ill? What will those wacky Simpsons writers think of next?

I have a rake. Will a rake work?

Seems like you could do it inconspicuously in your seat with your, uh, facial situation.

There's nothing they can really do, I just prefer the older look.

Yeah I understand the reasoning and I can't really begrudge them, but the aesthetic is still wrong. Not saying I won't watch, but
I'm not a big fan of the look.

Both are awful. I'm blessed to have a bunch of family run pizza joints nearby, but in the event that I want something fast and cheap I'll go for a frozen pizza over a chain every time.
