That's fair! I like that he has a relationship with his granddaughter, that's certainly something. I haven't done any loyalty missions so hopefully, he'll seem less one-dimensional once I progress.

I wouldn't have minded the Angara joke if there was more world building overall. I like Jaal, but I don't find the Angara nearly as interesting as any species from the OT. Their whole thing is basically that they're fighting the Kett, which isn't enough for me, especially when they are one of two new races in the game.
