Regarding the compelling reason to die, Morgan was in love and even married a woman who is now dead. In the pilot, Morgan is no longer interested in living now that she's gone.

When I was about 13 or so, a new restaurant opened and my grandparents took me to eat there. The name of the restaurant? Hooters. I haven't watched the episode yet so can someone explain why Barbie didn't just walk around to the outside of the Dome until someone noticed him? Hopefully someone inside the Dome would have enough sense to realize entering bottomless pit = getting out of the Dome. Of course, I may be overestimating the intelligence

Also, wasn't there DNA under Abbie's fingernails? Just go to Sam's cabin and get some hair from his hairbrush or something.
Normally I would say they don't have the resources to test and compare DNA but they have a science teacher!!
