So, some clarification. I’m a fan of the culture more than the games. I don’t necessarily think a game is good just because it’s Pokemon. Pokemon Go, for example, is kind of garbage, mechanically speaking.

From watching Lirik stream the game, I quickly was put off by how silly it was trying to be, but it was really forced and didn’t even feel like satire (ala GTA). The dialogue was not that hot, the animations and cutscenes were... eh. Not sure how it goes beyond the first couple hours, but it was really hard to watch…
