A 5K isn’t “four times shorter than” a half marathon. A half-marathon is more than four times longer than a 5K. A 5K is less than a fourth the distance. God I hate it when people use the "x is y times LESS than" expression...

True enough, but if you’ve gotta cut costs so dramatically that quality is going to seriously suffer, you need to also rethink your design and marketing (and pricing) strategy accordingly. What is up with these mid-to-high end retailers and vastly overpriced, cheaply made t-shirts? I can get something of comparable cut and quality at target. Stuff like skirts and slacks are usually genuinely better made, but it’s like these stores assume that their clientele will just mindlessly by $70 dollar t-shirts…
