Yes, those are excellent examples. I would also throw the Westboro Baptist Church in there, too.

Right, or at the very least, sued. But again, I seriously have a problem with using a constitutional right to basically take away another person's right to feel safe from such a personal invasion.
Yes, I agree. I just read the law, as pointed out by another commentator, and it is inherently unconstitutional. I do hope that lawmakers will take another look at it, because it is a worthy cause.
I still don't understand why using a 'constitutional right' to take pictures against someone's will is okay.
I pretty much just snorted my Mountain Dew through my nose at "Vulvatron". It was painful but so worth it.
I donno with him. I get that he's frustrated, and that he does get hurt but like I always ask him "how can something that's never started be over with?" like for reals, man.
Yeah, he considers himself to be a Nice Guy. We have had so many arguments over the fact that, yes you are a nice person but that doesn't entitle you to anything from these women you're talking to.
Oh, sigh. I love my hometown WNY. This is why we can't have nice things
Oh, man this point is the best. I don't date online (currently not at all) but I am a server. I can't demand every time some one tips me less, more, or not at all for their reasoning behind their actions but move on to the next person. I am also not obligated to tell people my personal life story because I serve them…
This reminds me about my roommate. He can't figure out if he wants women to let him down gently by not responding to him or if they flat out turn him down by saying something along the lines of "I had fun and I like you, but I don't really want to date you."
Yes, that's why love Shizuru - I know that she is a good person at heart, but I do believe that she feels like she needs to hide her feelings for Natsuki through that teasing nature.
Oops, I kind of misread your original post. Yes, the big issue is which tropes are overused in Japanese media.
OMG. Love this to bits. I wish I got it in Media Play all those years ago. Yuki Kajiura is so awesome. Love most of her work.
Probably that LGBT+ characters often fall into so many trope traps. Here's a couple examples:
Noir is pretty frickin awesome. Just really well done all around, and I love Yuki Kajiura, who does the music.
Oh, yes the ''group project" I was lucky enough to be a part of that last semester and I get you - one of us dropped off the face of the earth, and we could never figure out how to meet up, so that was fun.
Sigh, I should be surprised, but I am not.
I do, actually. I am very, very conscious of parking lots. I explained this in another post but I'll say it again. I was stalked when I was younger, and it really messed with my comfort level in public spaces. Nighttime parking lots are just one of them.
I know that I won't be able do to dismiss a person in my future big librarian's job, and I don't plan on it.
