why do people sit 5 feet from a track where cars are driving 250 MPH?:_>

I was playing Battletech before Robot Jox came out. When I found out Robot Jox existed I was like “Holy Shit!!! They made a Battletech movie!!!”
You completely changed the topic of your whole post.
How did you go from arguing that military tech designers don’t let their inner 10 year old design stuff to talking about Muslims. I really don’t see the connection.
I can assure you that not only do almost all soldiers say “that shit”, it is encouraged at every level of command. Nearly every time you are introduced to a new weapon or vehicle in training, a significant amount of time will be spent explaining exactly how badass that thing is, how much better it is than everything…
If you think that some military designers are not channeling their inner 10 year old when designing fighting vehicles and weapons then you are sorely mistaken.
I honestly can’t tell if you are joking.
Seriously? Have you ever seen a single military design ever? It’s boys with toys turned up to 11 all the time. Every weapon and military vehicle ever made was a guy going OMG THIS IS SOOOOO COOL I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY LET ME DO THIS BRO DID YOU SEE HOW FREAKING COOL MY SHIT WAS?
Robot Jox is single-handedly responsible for my craze for Giant Mechas or Robots in general.
Also sparked my love for ubconventional design like the stage two of the Russian model and it’s quadrupedal leg design. Probably explains why I usually prefer the Zeon designs in the Gundam universe.
Please say you are kiddding because lets be honest everyone’s inner ten year old would come out and design the most insanely cool thing ever
1. Respectfully disagree. This felt precisely like a crutch to me.
2. Disrespectfully, go fuck yourself? What pointless stereotyping you just engaged in. No one’s going to come steal your Blu-ray, dude. I can dislike the things you like.
When I think of “Titan Redeemer,” this immediately comes to mind! Why do none of the Jaegers look like walking Gothic castles, dammit?!
1. It was a stylistic choice not a crutch. Glowy shit is cool and the dark atmosphere made it more epic.
Firstly, don’t ever touch me. Secondly, don’t ever touch me.
as a borderline lifelong fan of Idris Elba, Pacific Rim may be my absolute favorite of his roles.
I have only two requests for this movie.
1. Have enough confidence in your visual effects to show them in daylight.
2. Don’t have your final battle at the bottom of the damn ocean where there’s zero sense of scale and everything’s in slow-mo.
It’s 2017 and NONE of our voice assisted apps (Siri, Google, Cortana, Alexa, etc.) have Ellen McLain’s voice as an option, which is a goddamn shame.
Eh. not bad designs but a little too close to each other. The one thing I liked about the original’s jaegers was that they had some interesting variation, like the three-armed Chinese one, or Cherno-muthafuckin’-Alpha. Loved that jaeger and wish they were bringing back an updated version of it.
Analog. Turns out, they’ll be fighting the Cylons in the new movie.
“It’s you... times a thousand.”
