20 miles away from this on the other side of Denver is Bandimere Speedway, where they’ve run a weekly test & tune night for decades, something like $40 to run as many passes as you can get in.

The S2000 is pretty definitively the best car from the 90s Roadster revival era but I just don’t think they’re worth the kind of price they’re commanding now, especially not with the latest generation of Miata getting pretty damn close to that horsepower mark.

Based on what I’m finding here in the Southeast, this is an easy Nice Price. Personally, I would rather have an Abarth Fiata.

This van seriously is making a mockery of everyone who has clean/low mileage/factory turbo vans right now and it’s ridiculous.

Good read here, Patrick.  I made it to the TorSen, and will read the rest later.  Several years ago I made a TorSen diff out of lego gears just to get a better sense of the mechanics of what is going on in there.  It was pretty cool and worked exactly as it should have.

I just sent this to all my sales staff. This is more comprehensive and yet easier to follow than any sales training material Stellantis has ever offered. Thank you so much!

One of the conversations I had with one of the engineers was around trying to talk an OE out of AWD on a product and into an LSD up front and about how the snow performance in tests was very comparable.

I don’t have a clue as to whether most of this is correct, but it does me a great service by confirming that this subject really is as complicated as I thought it was.

Excellent article. Even “article” feels insufficient to cover the depth and breadth of the work.

It’s supposed to last pretty much indefinitely, but worst case I just mix up another batch and apply it again. I’m thinking about making it a part of my monthly maintenance because multiple coats of linseed oil are my favorite finish for most of my wood working products because it allows the wood to breath and soaks

The term “schtick” implies some kind of performance. This is not that, it’s a passion that has existed since I was a child (a passion so strong it drove me to study engineering, move to Detroit, and work for Jeep).

I’m just buying whatever vehicle I want to buy (remember, I have to pay for these machines with my own

Because I love them.

I disagree with the lower door plastic molding. I think it looks better with it on there... simply because the front and read bumpers wrap around and are so low. Without the molding on the doors the lines are broken up and it feels uneven or just off. Obviously this is just my take, and if you like it better without

I think what it really shows is that my vehicle choices are, at best, mildly questionable. but here is a silly story anyway.
