In what metric? Neither are drag cars and if you’re just looking at 0-60 and 1/4 mile times you’ve missed the point entirely.

Or at minimum, will it FEEL faster than the FiST. That midrange torque dip does a huge disservice, especially with the FiST turbos giving it a big midrange shove.

Does it need to be? I’d be happy with more exciting and engaging to drive.

1) They could buy a newer car. A nice used one. And smaller. Pay cash if possible.

I’m not sure how much weight those ramp conversions add, but I bet it’s a few hundred pounds at least. So it’s like driving it around fully-loaded all the time. You can’t really compare that to “normal” usage.
