It should come as no surprise that he’s also a Trump supporter.

Dissenting, unpopular opinion here: While it’s sad to hear he passed, I did not care for his art style. It was a constant agitation for me when I read through Preacher. So many faces looked alike to the point that it was often just a difference of hair or skin color with the more normal looking characters that

Goro Miyazaki, who made, arguably, the worst Studio Ghibli movie? Ew, and it’s CG too. I mean, I know From Up on Poppy Hill was pretty good, but the visuals don’t quite excite me and the director doesn’t fill me with confidence.

They kind of nailed Ghost Ship on the head there. Opening sequence, memorable, really brutal, the rest of the movie, not so much.

It was a DBZ movie that Toriyama wasn’t involved with, so it’s about as much canon as DBGT, which is to say not at all.

I found it irritating how everyone is all focused on the kid and the one person who seemed to care, her friend, cares for a few hours, then seems to completely forget she exists or is missing. Girl tries to make sure her friend is safe, not doing something stupid, and she dies, then gets forgotten the next day? Nancy

It’s because all of Trump’s racist, bigoted supporters are blue collar workers and Hillary Clinton called them deplorable. ‘Course, she also said the other half of supporters are hard working people who support him because they feel let down by the government and the economy, but the broader message doesn’t matter,

I’m honestly not that upset with this, because it seems like every week Netflix is putting up a fresh new series, special or some movie they picked up, and so much of it is such great quality. Even the cartoons they pick up are pretty great, seriously, go watch Turbo FAST or the Home Cartoon, both are animated by

Wait one cotton picking minute, Lauren Davis! I thought you were done at io9!

You know, I got a bit of a... Rebecca Sugar vibe from this. Maybe it’s the voice acting, but it reminded me a bit of Steven Universe even though it’s not at all in anyway really like Steven Universe.

I mean, some of it comes down to the types of games they’re both a part of. There aren’t a lot of hero shooters out there, and the formula is one that you can only do so much with. It’s understandable that one engineer character might be similar to another in basics, like building a turret and having a tool to upgrade

This was more entertaining than the actual movie, which makes me think maybe for the next movie they should just go full on Star Trek IV and embrace some silliness. I mean, I know it’d be a horrible idea, but then ‘the crew of the enterprise rescues a whale from the 80s’ sounded bad on paper too.

I guess Ruth Jones must have been the genius behind Gavin & Stacey. Sure as shit isn’t Corden.

Not quite the same, or even remotely the same at all, but I like using a footpedal for my Push To Talk button. Got it off amazon a few years ago for like 15 bucks, bound it to the ` button, works like a dream. More helpful than a DJ turn table, but not nearly as cool.

So how long do you think it’ll be before they start slapping Geralt’s face on their currency? I mean, it is the inevitable conclusion, isn’t it?

That show was pretty fantastic in general. Hardly surprising that Family Guy went down hill shortly after Povenmire and Marsh left the writing staff.

That’s far too logical and reasonable a development for this TV show, never going to happen.

FaZe? Didn’t one of their douchebags post a video on YouTube about a fake ass article Patricia Hernandez reportedly wrote? Ah, found it:

Shit, Overwatch is free? Wish I'd known that before dropping 40 bucks on it.
