I think a great example of this, indeed the first example that jumps to my mind, is the American remake of the UK TV series Shameless. Same basic premise and characters, and the first season seems to start roughly the same way, but there is a distinct change in tone and direction nearer to the end of that first

Videos like these, which is to say watching people who have trained a beautiful craft, are a big ASMR trigger for me. I could watch these all day.

I'm a little bit concerned about next week's teaser. I know, or at least am convincing myself, that the whole Lafayette scare is just there to get us to watch, but I swear to God if he ends up at any point in what is left of this series I might just stop watching. I don't care how long I've been watching, Lafayette is

This is a good idea because no one at all would put anything bad in a bottle of alcohol someone else is going to drink.

Come now, it wouldn't be the internet without an inappropriate racial comment.

Duck necks and duck products

If this makes you squeamish then maybe the show isn't for you, because from what I recall of the book there are scenes far worse than this. Even just the appendage that the vampires used to drink peoples blood with is likely to give you the skin crawlies, because I'll tell you right now, there are no cute little fangs

Calling it now, Simulator Simulator will become a real thing soon.

This is probably the only thing that I think Hulu has over Netflix right now. Netflix has a few anime series, some great, but they rarely update them and a majority of the selection is garbage. Hulu, on the other hand, has hundreds of anime series, some that are even added the same day it comes out in Japan. I

Dear China; Thank you for saving Pacific Rim. You may one day rule the United States, but for now you have done geekkind a great service.

Depressed Johnny Bravo?

The best Star Trek film and a much better one than the one with the stupid whales.

The deal is that wanting to buy a game for 3 bucks instead of 60, 50, or even 20 is what is sending the gaming industry into focusing only on shelling out mediocre disposable games.

It kind of saddens me that these days "I'd buy that if it was a real video game" amounts to paying less than 10 dollars for a throwaway game for your smart phone or tablet.

I kind of hope so, it'd be more interesting and entertaining than the show is now.

Come on, as much as I dislike Tara I know she's not dead. If she was Pam probably would have at least registered that her baby vampire was killed... which is so damn disappointing, because Tara's about as interesting as a bowl of white rice, even once she became a lesbian vampire.

I always liked really complicated transformers, because they were like Legos. The more steps you had the more in between the more options you had for alternate forms. You could take arms, legs, flaps, head, what have you out and make it something rather different from what's on the box or in the TV show.

The Most Interesting Man in the World wouldn't stoop so low.

They ruined that Zaku II with their stupid paint.

I'm still curious to see what Katniss' Mockingjay outfit looks like. It's a fairly important piece of propaganda for the rebellion and primarily what she wears through out the book when she's not in her District 13 uniform.
