@DarcyMcCarbomb: Wow, that's a lovely picture of him. (Meaning, I've never seen the actor with curly hair. It is working for him however.)

@Boudicca: Those are some really odd analogies.

@Cocoa Mauve: If Timmy jumped off a cliff, would you?

@Catladypants: I understand this. Winter is great for skirts/dresses. I wore a lot and shaved little this winter because of the magicalness that are opaque tights.

@wordinedgewise: If laptop transport is necessary, I would wear a backpack (not too casual, all one color) over those wheeled luggage versions. I hate it when people refuse to watch for other people and just wheel it around haphazardly.

@MissBuckyC: I checked the percentages of wool vs man-made (polyester, rayon, etc). I'm not a fan of J.Crew lately (price gouging), so I bought a nice grey one with a high percentage of wool last winter. It's so lovely! And I got like 45% off of it.

@AnnaBanana: That is a pretty flat. I'm glad that they're comfortable too!

@DorothyWordsworth: I have yet to find a grown-up hat that looks good on me. I think I just have a weird-shape head.

@baseballchica03: As long as you get one that is good quality and fits well (probably nothing too outlandish in color choices), pea coats seem to work for any age.

I'm going to forget how the show portrays diversity as a whole and focus on the homosexuality aspect. I think they do a wonderful job on the characters of Kurt and his father, Burt. Sometimes it's a little idealistic, but I find that it seems very real and nuanced.

@Peppermint: If you buy versatile basics, you can mix and match.

@baseballchica03: Well, she said T-shirt dress. If the top is long enough to be a dress, I think leggings can be OK. Otherwise, no.

@cheertator: Shoes are a big deal for me. They don't have to be trendy, but they have to be comfortable. If you want comfortable dress shoes, you're sadly going to have to pay for them.

@ink: I pretty much live in skirts now. They're so much easier to pick out than pants. In the winter, I wear them with tights. Skirts are great for summer because I refuse to wear shorts.

@PrettyB is like Whoa: For me, the backpack is a safety concern. I carry around keys and my wallet (plus a cell phone). I would be very annoyed if they got stolen.

@Mensa: I am so glad that not every pair of jeans out there aren't the super-low rise ones. There was a period, a few years ago, where you couldn't find anything but those.

@History Major: I definitely think you shouldn't go too casual in a teaching position. You don't want to look like one of your students. It depends on the school, but a nicely fitted blazer works wonders.

@Mercutia: If you want a younger/fashiony look, there are some with a lot of zippers and/or studs on it.

@sympathyforthebasementcat: I'm OK with having larger sizes. I think it's frusterating for women who are smaller or bigger than the readily available sizes.
