Great catch
I know people are angry at the oil companies for being greedy with prices but people really need to get angry at city planners and zoning laws.
This topic is a major and continual personal conflict for me as well. On the one hand, I genuinely love racing cars & track days and I love a screaming or roaring combustion engine. I just do, as many do as well.
But my other major passion is the outdoors. National parks, hiking, camping, etc. And these two passions…
“The answer: five letters long “HITLER.”
Im pretty sure that is 6 letters. Once you run out of fingers on one hand, start using the other and you’ll be able to count higher!
For the record, I accidentally wrote “Oil Fitler” in my initial draft, and I’m not sure why I changed it given how badly this filter wants to ruin lives.
That is wonderful! I still have my first car, 1999 Oldsmobile 88 that my grandparents had purchased new. I've had it 15 years and still try to keep is shiny. It's wonderful comfortable and relaxed way to travel anywhere. We have lost this class of car in the marketplace today. I've had a ridiculous number of…
My folks had an ‘88 model! Dark blue with a blue interior. Went on a few long trips in it and it was comfy, reasonably fuel efficient, and the 3800 had a nice growl when you’d kick it to pass someone. Nice to see one still in good shape and on the road!
I had an ‘85 Regency 98, which was mostly the same car. Moved from that to an ‘89 Park Avenue. Cushy to say the least.
Awesome! I like how you took the pic next to a drive up Bell payphone. Ain’t too many around in Montreal anymore!
I only know this car exists because of Midtown Madness.
It’s clear that none of the writers on this site are long term viewers.
100% this. I read “...and tailgate from a Colorado pickup were added...” and immediately went to the comments to see who else saw what I saw. Haha!
IMHO, you should have tried to find the even rarer and more hilariously trouble-prone Passat Wagon with the W8.
Pretty much any of the, “Why buy a new _____, when you could get a mile used [unreliable, high repair cost vehicle] for the same price?” articles by Tavarish.
Because speed sells? That’s my only theory. That and it’s probably a lot easier to engineer...
This EV won’t work for me because the commute to my job is 20 miles each way and once I get there they don’t give me enough money to buy this car.
Not breaking any new ground saying this, but the plastic body panels of the original Saturns were a good idea and should be used more widely.
The Chrysler LX cars do not share a platform with the Mercedes W210. They share some suspension pieces and switchgear but are on their own platform.
Edmunds got the Corolla Cross to hit 60 mph in 9 seconds.
