When I was a student on a very tight budget, I bought a brand new set of Wanli tires for my car. I had 7 punctures in one summer and by the end of the next summer the tire were short. That was the last time I bought a chinese tire. I have Michelin on my current car and those are the best tire I ever had.

What are your thoughts about carbon deposit on the valve of a direct injection engine ? Would you use any type of cleaner or you would let that alone?

The throw out bearing problem would have been a 2000 $ fix if not under warranty.

I guest you are right. I don’t know exactly how to calculate the ROI. The thing is I bought the stripper model with a manual. Not exactly a popular trim.

Yeah but my family had nice experience with hyundai in the past. But yeah, I wish that I had bought something else.

Oh no I didn’t bought the bike thinking I was saving money. The bike cost me around 7k last year (bike, insurance, gear, MSF, license). The bike average 4.5l/100km vs 7 for the Elantra. I did not even count the maintenance.

I know but it doesn’t seems wise, does it? I had enough to pay 2/3 of the loan last year but I bought a bike. Doesn’t help my case to much. I’ll try to keep it a for a few years and hope it doesn’t break again. the other thought I have is, if I change it, I change it for what? There is not much new or new-ish car in

I financed a car for 7 year, this is one of the biggest financial mistake I have ever done, yet. The car is a 2014 Elantra GT base model that I bought new early in 2015. At the time I thought that I was going to keep that car for ever so a 7 year loan doesn’t matter much.

Yeah it does sound weird and surprising at first.

Yup all ae86 are solid axle.

Also, at that point there is not much left of what make the 85 and 86 different.

They are everywhere here in eastern Canada. Most people buys them because they don’t want to buy a 2500 or bigger. The idea that you can pull a fifth wheel with a 1500 is really appealing to people. Even more when they only tow it in and out of there camping spot once a year.

I see a lot of Ram 1500 bagged to tow 6-7K pounds fifth wheels. It helps tremendously even if it isn’t 10K+

That’s good to know. I got 90000 km on it right now and everything is going fine suspension wise. But, when the time comes i will remember that.

The rear suspension on my 2014 elantra GT is utter shit. It’s really unstable over bumpy roads.

The Custom Trailboss look baller in my opinion.

That like my favorite part of the design. I think it looks awesome.

On my old car, one of the intermittent setting was variable. Over 60 Km/h or so it sped up. So it was a two speed setup. That setup was good for like 90% of the time. It was great.

I don’t. Full Disclosure: I haven’t tried Pale Moon. I only checked what the UI looked like on google image.

Meh, it reminds me of Dial-Up Internet. It looks slow. It probably isn’t but still.
