Travel...from my experiences most places haven’t been any worse than the US. But then again whenever I go somewhere new (even in America), I always have my guard up and aren’t really expecting people to be welcoming. Due to my lowered expectations...usually end up leaving pleasantly surprised.

Cant imagine the manager and owners of this place are happy about this. One their employees trying to publicly shame a customer willing to buy bottle(s).

The sad thing is they have nothing to worry about because they know people wont stand behind him. Just look at the comments in here (minus the trolls of course)...half of them are about writing him off because of his voting stand.

They usually do. But first, they usually tell you its for paying customers only.

They dont want to actually work longer...they just want to make more money. And they know working more is the only way to achieve that because they are not going to magically get a raise.
