I agree.. the fight scenes are compelling for about 2 minutes then I get bored.

I feel like it should be relatively easy to tell the difference between the good ‘pushing your limits’ pain and bad ‘You’re gonna damage yourself’ pain.

It drove me nuts in school that the sports I hated, like Basketball and volley ball (I am uncoordinated, slow, and I have a ‘fear-of-the-ball’), and gymnastics we had entire units on, but the games I liked, like baseball and floor hockey, we only got to do once in a while.

The way sports are treated is not only detrimental for the athletic, it’s bad for the non-athletic too, because there is no place for kids that literally just want to play and have fun. In fairness, a lot (and I mean a LOT) of adults lack the proper outdoor survival skills necessary to ensure that their offspring don’t get eaten by a bear (people around here have no friggin’ regard for bear safety) or fall into a crevasse.

Yeah, the utter enthusiasm when she told Bran he was heir to Winterfell was palpable.. she does NOT want to be in charge. She seemed excited at the prospect of being able to fob the responsibility off on someone else.

Or Maybe “Hey was it weird for you when Littlefinger pushed Auntie out the moon door and you lied about it?” Or, “Good job on smucking that bratty cousin of ours upside the head.. little shit deserved it.”

I loved that line about “I saw how glad he was to see me, when he sees you his heart will probably stop” and her good-natured recognition that Arya was totally Jon’s favorite sister (for good reason, Sansa was kind of a dick to him as a kid).

I think she was upset because she took the talk of Arya’s list of “People to kill” as hyperbole, and I think that scene may have been her realization that Arya is dead serious.
