weren't the polar bear dharma experiments and the smoke monster was a man that became the monster after falling into the heart of the island? pretty sure the hatch was explained as well. It's been four years let it go! Lost isn't The Leftovers, If you don't like it don't watch it

call me crazy but I'm loving this show. I agree whole heartedly about the need for more lighthearted fun though
