I’m in the same boat for mostly the similar reasons. It got too expensive, but it also just made me too angry.

Teach me to love it. I bought it, got busy, then downloaded Dead Cells. I’m in love with Dead Cells, but it’s hard to love two games that are so similar in a lot of ways. When I play Hollow Knight I just miss the weapons and combat of Dead Cells.

No. The game is excellent at difficulty. It’s got a lot of difficulty options and the content scales really well, although it may not scale up enough with more players (it’s up to your personal opinion). The main reason to do multiplayer is that it’s just fun as heck. I love grouping enemies up and freezing enemies

the online-only requirement ended with Loot 2.0 (getting rid of the ability to sell items to other players for gold and even real money). Now you only need to be online to play with others.

This game is so huge these days. It’s really fun and the moment-to-moment is great, but it’s almost overwhelming. I played on PC at launch and liked it but bounced off because of the auction house element. Played it again last December on PS4 after a Black Friday sale and its SO much better, but there is just so much

So many good properties to milk, but Blizzard may be happy with them just appearing in Heroes of the Storm

There is very little in the way of reading, honestly. Some cool/funny story bits, but those are mostly the protagonist poking bones and quipping. Other than that there are only numbers on gear.

Man thats slow! I was at like 450 within a month, but its because I was obsessed with it and took my Switch everywhere— even in the car waiting for the wife to get off work.

So much Dead Cells. I absolutely adore that game. Great graphics, great progression, great animation, amazing “feel”. Makes me feel like I’m playing a Castlevania game but with a tightness of control that rivals a Souls game. Every button press or even interrupted press feels fluid and responsive and 90% of the

He’s a drama queen and probably doesn’t deserve attention, but he could be talking about the fact that revision 1 of the Switch has an unfixable bug opening it up to root access that can overcome every single piece of security on the device. It cannot be patched with software since it happens so early in the boot.

Mike,

I think the fact that they’re working on this is a dead giveaway that they are working on a new game.

My dreams came true with Night in the Woods. Everything about it looked amazing and loved all the talk in GoTY discussions about it. . Almost pre-ordered it on PS4 before my busy schedule made me completely forget about the console. Switch seems like a perfect place for it.

Off topic but,

Really interesting read, Jason.

Are we sure they aren’t actually run by the Hand?
