Damn it, they’re going to make me say it.

Always record. Always record.
Friendly reminder that Don’t Trust The B- was excellent, and JVDB was particularly hilarious.
I love that Hulu went ahead and simply released a watermarked version of the Dawson Crying GIF.
Vanderbeek Rules.
So who do I have to tussle with in a penis punch 69 in order to get a Holt soundboard app?
I don’t think Glover would’ve enjoyed having Chevy drop in on his episode. They weren’t exactly friends.
Wow, you really should be an SNL writer. That Joel McHale cameo really would have turned the episode around, can’t believe the writers didn’t think of that.
Heidi Gardner’s performance in that Barbie sketch was nothing short of brilliant.
That Barbie sketch had no right to be as funny, for me, as it ended up being. It was one of those jokes where all the performers utterly committing to their role, well as far as Davidson can anyway, elevated it. Also I so loved the dark backstory Glover’s character kept insisting on.
In that cold open, Redd and Moffat were, for me, the best example in a long while of shining with so little given. They were basically a throwaway shot, but still made me laugh every time we saw them on screen. Kudos to both.
Damn, this episode had more celebrity cameos in it than Stormy’s had in her.
David Walton wearing a cat shirt. “I’m trying SO HARD.” Cute.
Man I hope Brokaw is innocent. Not because I respect his tenure as a journalist or anything, but because I can do a pretty good impression of him and I’d hate to make that party trick weird.
In that they both stand on stage and tell jokes they’re certainly interchangeable.
“What kind of a coke head relative is my college? I gave you more money than the Civil War cost and you want more?!”
I’ve just realized how jaded I’ve become. I fully expected him to get off. Bit of an understatement to say I’m pleasantly surprised.
During the soup/burning scene, Aunt Lydia was trying to build other handmaids’ resentment towards Offred/June, an emerging leader. Offred instigates something, but in essence gets away without much of the painful punishment and gets rewarded. It demonstrates how sophisticated Aunt Lydia has become.
I very rarely side with the “now so you’re just being silly” side on this issue... but yeah, that piece might be pushing things a bit too far.
“so do our sensibilities and our awareness of the ways in which injustice operates systematically.”
