Nah. They’d at least be street smart.

You needed a “prolly” and an incorrectly used “anymore” to really make it complete though.

I’m a sparkling water addict and use it every day. If you just like the flavoured stuff I wouldn’t because you’ll just be drinking unhealthy stuff more often but if you're already spending money on club soda or sparkling mineral water it's definitely worth it.

I bet she has dual citizenship by now.

Where do they even find these bimbos?

“Black women have been talking about Schumer and Tina Fey for awhile, its just that no one cared.”

I agree with you to a certain extent but I think words matter. By calling it rape culture you’re making everyone complicit. And that might be true but it’s only going to make people defensive and less likely to engage in good faith.

I’m not. I’d never even heard of these chicks until jezebel started writing about them. My point is that jezebel made defending them a feminist issue, until one of them insulted fat chicks and how suddenly their rights to go topless are no longer worthy of being defended...

*shrugs*

Let’s just say, I doubt Jezebel will be as vehement in their defence of the Times Square desnudas as they were the last few days. Which is typical of Jezebel. Kinda like they worshipped Amy Schumer until she told that joke they didn’t like and suddenly she’s a white feminist and a racist. Or how they loved Taylor

Will they still “support” her though? I mean, look at all the comments in this thread. IMO it just shows that despite being feminists, we still show the same biases that we accuse society of harbouring against women. You know, like how if a woman is put on the stand in court, she has a better chance of getting the

That’s my point. I disagree with the idea that rape is somehow different or worse at a prep school than at a middle class suburban high school than a poor inner-city school.

But all 3 scenarios that you present are really variations of the same thing: boys feeling entitled to women’s bodies for whatever reason. And that’s my point: that the reasons, at their core, are no different in a prep school than among poor inner city kids or middle class suburbia.

I know rights are universal. My point was - should defence of those rights by feminists be reserved only to “likeable” women and “good” feminists?

LOL I’m kidding but ok. I just think it’s funny how everyone was all serious about defending the topless ladies’ rights until one of the topless ladies opened her mouth and wasn’t all that likeable. It does make you wonder though: should feminists only defend “likeable” women’s rights?

The whiny asshole kid clearly favours her dad. The mom is cool though.

I’m the same. Kids are all shrill and none seem to grasp the concept of an indoor voice. This is why I have a raspy-voiced cat instead.

So only women you like are entitled to have their rights to paint their nibs defended? And we wonder why feminism isn’t progressing as quickly as we want it to...

That’s just one desnuda’s opinion, not all of them. Plus, what did you expect? Mensa membership and top notch feminist credentials? As feminists, we also can’t be all, “let’s stand up for topless women’s rights, unless one of those topless ladies opens her mouth and says stuff feminists don’t like, and then we’re
