Baby oil, sure, everyone’s heard of that, but this is the first time I’ve heard of anyone putting iodine on before tanning. What was that supposed to do?

They’re so much still a thing they’re touring again this year.

Was Kansas City destroyed? My dad and I were debating that at the end of the episode. It did seem like a huge horde, and reasonable to assume that a significant portion of their fighters were killed, but I thought that it was pretty heavily fortified. Didn’t Kathleen or Henry say something to that effect at one point?

Oh yeah, this doesn’t surprise me at all. My dad and I are rewatching SHIELD, and half the producers and a bunch of crew are Whedons. My dad asked at one point, “Who’s that Tancheroen who keeps popping up in the credits?” It’s Joss’ sister-in-law.

Man,  I watched every trailer for that movie and read several articles about it, as much as I could without spoiling the whole movie, and I still have no idea what the story is supposed to be beyond a vaguely Arthurian tale.

“We worked with someone who not only said she was sick with cancer but looked sick with cancer,” one of Finch’s colleagues told The Antler. “[Our coworker] lost her hair, whose skin was yellow and green ...

Apparently the Shark knock-off is a much better product and a lower price.

Ohh, I’ve made those, and I don’t even like making candy. 100% worth it. I ate them all.

FDA says 165. I’m sure you can go lower, but a giant corporation like Butterball isn’t going to risk someone undercooking their turkey and getting food poisoning.

No, I’m saying Keith McNally has literally defended Maxwell and Allen on his Instagram account, made gross comments about the attractiveness of his staff, and railed against trans athletes, and food media keeps treating him like a quirky, irreverent social media presence.

Do a lot of people wish they could get away with defending Woody Allen and Ghislaine Maxwell? I don’t understand how everyone’s cheering for McNally in this ridiculous situation. He’s just as much of an ass, and more publicly, as Corden.

That’s fair, and really, I didn’t take it that way.

Oh, I don’t know, I think I disagree. I’ve seen him in three different stage productions (not Equus, though), and I actually think he does a very good job. Stage acting is so different from movie acting, it was fascinating to see how much range he has. How to Succeed looked like the most fun I’ve ever seen anyone have

I’ve watched this show on two different computers and my parents’ new smart TV; this episode in particular, I watched the first half on my laptop and finished it on the television. The difference in clarity is astounding – it was like watching an entirely different show on the TV. If your device is anything more than

I like BD Wong. Heck, I’m pleased almost every time he appears on my TV. When he showed up in Dominion my eyes rolled so far back into my head I’m convinced I saw my own brain. Full-on “Oh Christ, why are the dino lab people STILL HIRING THIS ASSHOLE” (except in my head, because airplane). Also, that hair was a crime.

You know, I know better than to check the AV Club before watching something I like, but putting this as your dek –

I actually have followed these guys since they left Buzzfeed, and still, my dad broke the story for me. He showed me a tweet “someone sent him” (I think it must have been a push notification). He just wanted me to parse the ridiculous internet syntax it was written in; instead, he got me going all 😱 “Ned cheated on

For me, it was his voice. Granted, like others have mentioned, I’m used to seeing him as the Doctor, and there were definitely moments where it felt like he was playing the Doctor in disguise. But I feel like he has a very distinct voice, and for better or for worse, the majority of the actors on GoT and now this show

Several people have now responded to me saying that her father being a producer on this specific show is an “unsubstantiated rumor.” I honestly don’t remember where I heard it first, but I have heard and read it several times since, although I haven’t seen it again since news of her leaving. So, who knows. Given her

I mean, the “knew something I didn’t” is mostly the fact that her father is one of the major producers. I was rooting for her, I like her and I really wanted her to be good, but let’s not kid ourselves: a big part of the reason she was able to lead this revival was him.
