I'll be honest I haven't driven a 'new' diesel. The last time I drove a diesel was in Spain last year they had an olddd Ford Fiesta (prly a 1998) and it had a significant knocking to it and not a great lot of acceleration. I'd definitely be interested in in trying one out.
