I have the DC25 Animal. I'm fairly happy with it. It picks up A LOT of hair and dust. The cleaning lady threw out a huge ball of yuck one day and I was surprised. They're well built, the quality lasts but yes they're expensive

I honestly can't remember the last time a virus bothered me. AV software keeps me nice and safe. Plus with the RT table if most of the apps come from a Windows Marketplace then I'm sure there'll be as few chances of getting a virus as from the iTunes marketplace (unless you bring one in through the SD card)

I bought a refurbished one and a bunch of co-workers bought refurbsihed ones from Woot. No problems whatsoever. Just clean the brushes and empty the dust pan. I love my old one!

I say get it! Though my wife made me put mine away I loved Esmarelda the Roomba. It's super cute and fun to watch it go around. If you have bare floors even better! Also you can find refurbsihed ones like I did on Woot or other sites for under $300 and they work awesome!
