The first one is a completely different experience from the second based upon what I've seen so far. I enjoyed it a lot, but I can't guaranty you will.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like they are overcharging too much. You could build your own system for cheaper but you would have to research all the parts and such.
Gears Of War 2. I'm not sure what it is about it but it's just boring. I've tried, multiple times now to play it but within an hour I get bored. I even had my brother come over so we could play co-op. Still got bored.
I completely agree with that. Computers are very simple to build now. Really all you have to do is make sure you put things in the right spot. Sort of like advanced Legos or something.
If it was just friendly advice it would be one thing. A lot of people do it to make themselves look better or cooler.
Haha that's it? I probably spent half as much on the same parts as you did! I built all that, except I also built myself as well! I bet you went with a "standard" heart and brain right? I got my brain on the cheap, hooked it up to a discount heart and overclocked the hell out of it!
That's cool. I think people get a bit carried away with the "I saved so much money building my own!". Not everyone wants to be the cool kid who builds his own computers. If you don't want to build, I'd recommend setting a price limit on how much you want to spend and look at computers that cost about that much.
I think there are a few reasons people do it.
I looked up the hardware cost on Newegg for another post, I figure the info may help answer your question a bit.
I looked up the cost of the hardware on Newegg just to get an idea of the value:
Hey! I'm in school to be one of those! I would love to work at Valve.
I give it a week after going for sale for these to be popping up around town.
My TSX prefers premium and it's a 2.4L NA I4 producing 205-ish HP stock. I can also put in normal but the motor retards itself to prevent knocking, thus killing off some power.
Yeah, Bioware is sort of damned if they do/damned if they don't on this one.
It's actually a very common prayer. I used to say it when I was a little kid before I went to bed.
If the only reason you are playing the game is to see every one of your actions play out, then no don't bother.
Eh, it's not just the physical appearance that kills it for me. It's the whole "voice command" thing. Sorry, I'm just not talking to my glasses in public. Until I can do it without getting odd stares, it's a deal breaker.
Wow, those are horrendous. I stand corrected. Apparently appearance doesn't really matter.
It always annoyed me how the tire marks stayed when rewinding the video. You'd think they would find a way to patch that.
I won't comment much on the frame since they are prototypes and probably will change quite a bit.
