Another great thing about British shows: they give you closure.

He's a pirate radio host, right? Of course, he was Kid Charlemagne back then. I know the government was working to shut him down, but I heard he made a new name for himself in New Mexico.

Born in '85 here. Already cantankerous, avoiding socializing with anyone born after '88, never really connected to Gen Xers beyond shared memories of an analog world and an appreciation of both the best and worst of the 90s. I'm apparently not old enough to be included in this new labeling. Despite the fact that I

Yes, I replied "is this just fantasy?" when I heard Oliver pose the original question. But then, this world is certainly more nightmarish hellscape than fantasy right now.

In the words of John Oliver: Is this real life?

I would throw Billy's apartment on Difficult People in as one of the more realistic depictions I've seen in television.

TCM's "On Demand" options are generally pretty decent, should DVR fail you. Generally speaking. Though it doesn't appear they've added Barry Lyndon to the selection yet. Always worth checking out what they have available, nonetheless.

I've been having an uncharacteristically decent day, so I'm going to refrain from giving this series finale another thought.

SNL on NBC.com appears to recently have added stuff from every season, if not the full episodes (haven't explored so thoroughly). Worth a glance. It looked like they actually but a modicum of effort in, anyway.

Fat Brando.

Well, he'd rather have been in bed, you know. Events such as these—or, say, filming a beloved sitcom—aren't worth his time, energy, or pretending to give a shit.

She was in The Breaks.

We can see from the headline photo here that Oher is still pissed at being portrayed as a developmentally disabled man-child in the Blind Side…

Those technical mishaps are by no means new to the show; any given episode from any given season will contain a few hiccups. But I will agree that they've been especially noticeable this season. It was painfully obvious in the first episode that things were bumpy; season premiere, new cast members, perhaps new crew

The first time I heard the song on the radio, that is precisely what I thought I was hearing. I came in mid-chorus, thought it was perhaps a new Beyonce song (Ora has a similar sound to her vocals on that track, I think), and she just had no fucks left to give. I honestly didn't realize what was actually going on till

I can't help but think of one Cass Van Rye (Cheri O'Teri) of "Morning Latte" referring to Shaq as a 'rappist.' I loved it then and I'll stand by it today.

I think I'll just listen to Tim Minchin's "Thank You God" instead. Sam and his mum know the truth.
