Letter 1 set off alarm bells in my head the longer I read it, and I’m sorely disappointed that the doc didn’t call him out on his horseshit. Anyone who claims to be a gentleman and blames the boogeyman of feminism and his supposed submissiveness for not maintaining a partner’s interest long-term is not someone who

While it’s obviously not an excuse or a justification... but it probably is the “why”. It’s not an unusual thing to happen in high stress work environments.

Yeah, you’re right. Although, the goddess of transitory rise’s silence in response to my question speaks volumes, i suppose...

It’ll sell well for the first few years but I doubt it gets a second generation.

Can we really continue to pile on Bill Clinton for this after everyone rallied around Katie Hill for the same thing six months ago? Are affairs with subordinates bad or not?

Shh, we don’t talk about these things when Democrats do it.

Yes, that note about feminism and submissiveness was odd, both because it missed the point about feminism and it missed the point about his own relationship. Like, no, the biggest issue was exemplified when he and his partner had major intimacy issues from year 1 on, and his response was to propose before the issue

For the first guy*

Again, not an endorsement of our current way where it takes 12 months and a billion dollars spent to just pick a nominee. But no way would holding snap elections and allowing the party to pick nominees work better.

But he was a GENTLEMAN. She was BRATTY.

“You can’t fire me, I quit!”

Are we not going to talk about the clear cut codependency in LW1?

I’ve seen a lot of “never Sanders” Warren supporters lately, and it seems to largely be because of a subset of decidedly wrong-headed Sanders supporters being assholes. So it looks like a lot of the “taking my ball and going home” that Sanders supporters were accused of in 2016.

Hillary Clinton received more votes than anybody not named Barack Obama in the history of human democracy. This was a discouraging outcome, and you can’t discount the role sexism played in it (obviously). Warren also could have run with a smarter campaign strategy.

I was the one who ended it with her as she told me she no longer loved me.

Hookers, blow, and Ferraris are all fine, separately or together.  All Ferrari is saying is make sure there is no evidence.

This is where regulations are a good thing, for all the Libertarians out there, because OBD regulations actually require that manufacturers allow for diagnostic information to be commercially available for independent repair shops and consumers.

I think it’s partly that her support was limited to what you are terming “establishment” voters. Essentially, she was really, really popular among under-40 college-educated voters, but not particularly popular outside of that demographic.

Do white people like this not realize that there are people that they cannot see handling the food they eat? And that those people and the wait staff are likely speaking to each other?

I think you’re framing this irresponsibly. It’s more like he got the job, was like hey something’s up, talked to the correct authorities and got the company to fix it, and now that it’s obviously awkward he’s going to go get a new job.
