I'm pretty sure it is. If I remember correctly, you can set up the P1 in different modes. And I believe they have a "track" mode which lowers the car. I forget the specifics of how much.

I'd recommend Denon for beginners. Audyessy set up is breeze and it sounds great to me. Note, both Denon and Onkyo offere Audyssey but I prefer Denon's.
