My thoughts exactly. I was just reminded of this title again and I had to check to see if many people ever actually talked about... well, this. Because it sure felt like nobody really cared. It left a horrible taste in my mouth, and it was so beyond harsh to the female lead. Not because of poisoning her over and over…

The 2025 version will be the gritty reboot simply titled “Mad”.
