Not necessarily. There are a lot of valid reasons to want pilots in charge of ships, especially multi-purpose fighter craft. But these particular designs seem to prioritize an extremely small scale vessel with a single purpose. Like that torpedo platform - why does that need a pilot? Or those tiny hover things with

These look cool. A lot of these I like. But several times I’d find myself asking why a design would use a human pilot instead of being a drone, especially when the pilot looks like a dangling liability half-hanging out of the machine. Why bother with that instead of just filling the (extremely minimal) pilot space

You and I are in the exact same place, and I call out the same two games as the highest marks in Kickstarter success history. Neither likely would have been made in a studio system that relies purely on publishers, both are gorgeous, tactically intriguing, and fun. These labors of love are exactly the kinds of things

Whack-a-boner is a timeless classic. It may have been the first game humans ever played.

Wwwwelp, I guess I know what I have to re-watch now. Thanks a million.

But is he counting in large amounts? Like... 1000? “One thousand twenty spiders on the wall! HA ha haaaa!”

“I don’t think it’s believable or realistic that Hal Jordan would go crazy and turn evil. So instead, I’ll say it was all the fault of a giant yellow space bug that made him really scared. Fixed!”

Sometimes not fixing it breaks it. Leaving GL and Batman largely untouched while the whole rest of the line changed around them left those books with some really bizarre problems. If they were going to reboot the line, reboot it all. This half-measure stuff failed the stories, failed the characters, and didn’t do much

You know what’s awesome about being born on June 21st? Great stuff always seems to happen on or around your birthday. Seems like every year there’s a great movie, game, or event happening that week, and I get the longest day of the year to enjoy them. Summer solstice, baby!

I will never not star Calvin and Hobbes. Well played, sir.

Guy said “B.A.” not “B.F.A.” As a guy with a bachelors in Illustration and Graphic Design, I don’t want us lumped in with people that got degrees in communications. ;)

Ab-so-loot-lah...

I suspect The X-Files will be back (again) in a few years with some episodes that try to bring actual closure. (...) It’s hard to imagine the episodes would focus on anything but wrapping up the remaining loose ends of the series’ mythology...

I encountered this problem when I switched to the PC as my primary gaming platform a couple years ago. It’s easy to find yourself re-buying stuff you owned on consoles when Steam lists a game for $3.99. Or re-buying a slice of your childhood when GOG does the same (why hello there, Quest for Glory collection! Why

In fact... forget the blackjack! And the settlement!

Campo Santo had more balls than Donald Trump on steriods to make this game, and they deserve the money.

I don’t get crap like Impossible Mode. Why play at all? I’m assuming there’s some kind of hammer or club nearby if you just want to whack yourself in the balls for a few hours a night.

I’m playing “Bust my ass drawing/coloring to meet my deadline,” which is not as fun a game as it sounds. Making comics is a hard business.

Or it could possibly be that “creepy” is the correct word to use when referring to the way an uncanny object can make you feel uncomfortable, chilled, or unnerved. Uncanny has a specific definition as well - in this case, you probably meant it to mean “weird or unusual,” which is fine, but there’s no reason both words

Man, I’m starting to think people like us aren’t anybody’s target market anymore. :(
