It’s not THAT bad (I’ve lived there before). I’ve seen enough Mulgas and Tiger snakes, and I’m usually ok with them (on land). There’s only one kind of scorpion, as far as I know, and it’s not dangerous. Yeah, box jellyfish is in the latitudes of the Ningaloo (mainly in the Southern summer), and it’s nasty...

It’s just because the idea of encountering snakes in the water creeps me out for some reason (I’d still visit the reef if I had the opportunity...).

Visiting Ningaloo reef has always been on my ‘wish list’ - not so sure anymore...

Whenever I give students take-home exams (science), with the stipulation that they have to work in small groups, and return individual responses (i.e., each group member has to use different examples), I frequently get the feedback that this was a great learning experience.
