Thanks for the tip - I'll do that!

That's why you need a few of them - it gets better with each shot.

Hope the Pashley is adorned with a decent Brooks saddle (what else?).

Yep - my Dad taught me to estimate exposure/aperture, and for most natural light conditions, that worked pretty well! Ok, we had mainly ISO 50 or so, which simplified things a bit, but then again, you can calculate the adjustments for higher ISOs.

And exactly how don't the tires deflate when punctured? Also, needs a gun rack in the back.

Why the hate for wasps? They just sting.

I've seen that movie 2 times, and still don't understand it - it means it must be good!

Nope. Fail.

Ha! Only difference is that you'd have been executed back then if you were wearing a $495 jacket...

You mean Munch's The Scream? Escher's work is way not at that level...

Yes - St. Nicholas was the bishop of Smyrna (today in Turkey), and was known for his charities for the poor. In Europe traditionally celebrated on Dec 6, but not otherways related to the Christmas season. St Claus is the US (d)evolution (merchandise for at least 4 weeks! funny hats! advertisements!).

I have a feeling, however, that the enthusiasm to use and implement the latest tech can sometimes override common sense, and the question 'what do we really need'. I don't have a water-related example now, but, e.g., in the energy context: You can talk

I agree that technology needs to be part of the education. But - I don't think you have to spend tons of time from early on to teach kids how to use a computer, or technology. Show me any 5-year-old who wouldn't figure out how to use a computer/phone/etc. sufficiently well within 1-2 weeks. They have computer and

It always makes me cringe when I hear that a problem needs to be addressed as high-tech as only possible. 'Smart pipes... equipped with tech' - no, we just need pipes where the water comes out clear and drinkable! I've had better drinking water in some developing countries that certainly didn't have 'smart pipes',

The aborigines down under talk about a 'one-dog' or 'two-dog' night, depending on how many canines you need around you in order to stay warm.

It is a cozy invention, and, as the old cliché goes, it's the closest thing to sex the British have.
