For me it’s not about the top 10 of a year. Those were the blockbusters you always had. It’s more about the diversity of the movies we used to have. There seemed to be more lower budget stuff going on 15 years ago.

What in the fuck is going on at Riverdale? I haven’t started this season and I’m not sure I want to. Was only hate-watching til the end because of the time I’d already invested.

NO!!! People don’t choose movies based on quality or entertainment value. It is only based on studio and sub-genre. Maybe also the number of sex crimes committed by the cast and crew.

I especially enjoy the current “MCU fatigue” discord despite Marvel Studios having its best non-Avenger 12-month stretch at the box office with No Way Home, Dr. Strange 2, Wakanda Forever, and Thor 4 from December 2021-22.

So this means we are obviously and collectively over our “superhero fatigue.” Although we might all obviously, collectively, and very rapidly, develop both Superhero and Pixar fatigue on June 16th. Maybe Wes Anderson fatigue too. I'm so very, very tired.
