Really? I have never, ever heard that.

I’m sorry, ut every time I see Pierce Brosnan, I just think of him as the robot house from Treehouse Of Horror. “I’ve alerted the police, now take off your knickers and wait in the bath”
Congratulations to Anthony Mackie on (based on the photo with Ford) getting a costume that does not look sto stupid. I know the white one is a carry-over from the comics, but yeesh.
For me it’s not about the top 10 of a year. Those were the blockbusters you always had. It’s more about the diversity of the movies we used to have. There seemed to be more lower budget stuff going on 15 years ago.
Yeah, even Pauline Kael wrote something similar:
I think a lot of this is basically blaming cockroaches for the nuclear winter. Superhero blockbusters aren’t responsible for the current climate in theaters; they’re just the thing that survives in it.
I would normally agree, but I’m not sure how that works if Peacemaker’s second season does indeed happen. It’s also weird to be carrying forward all three of Weasel, Waller, and Economos (plus introducing Rick Flag’s dad) to Creature Commandos unless it’s a continuation — that feels like more than “we liked those…
a sequel to The Flash dead then?
What in the fuck is going on at Riverdale? I haven’t started this season and I’m not sure I want to. Was only hate-watching til the end because of the time I’d already invested.
NO!!! People don’t choose movies based on quality or entertainment value. It is only based on studio and sub-genre. Maybe also the number of sex crimes committed by the cast and crew.
I especially enjoy the current “MCU fatigue” discord despite Marvel Studios having its best non-Avenger 12-month stretch at the box office with No Way Home, Dr. Strange 2, Wakanda Forever, and Thor 4 from December 2021-22.
So this means we are obviously and collectively over our “superhero fatigue.” Although we might all obviously, collectively, and very rapidly, develop both Superhero and Pixar fatigue on June 16th. Maybe Wes Anderson fatigue too. I'm so very, very tired.
First of all, I’m in my early 30s. Secondly, who still goes to the theater? I’ll wait for it to stream.
“so it’s not surprising that we are returning to a model similar to traditional television”
I was singing this song to myself earlier this week and I don’t know why, and now I have no choice but to start singing it again.
“Professor, what’s another word for pirate treasure?”
