I worked at Gamestop when I was a teenager. This was around the time that Grand Theft Auto IV came out. I remember being AMAZED at how many kids came in asking about GTA (eye-vee), clearly having no conception of what roman numerals are. 

yeah but this seems like its going beyond that though. usually when a new boss comes in like this they at least let whats far into production to continue then just dump it unceremoniously. almost everything, but Batgirl, has been killed inbetween seasons or before it got too far into production.

I think back to how unabashedly excited Sasha Calle was when they told her she got the Supergirl role and it breaks my heart a little for her thinking of how messed up The Flash has turned out and now her standalone film likely getting the hatchet.

If it’s a new, R-rated take on Odie’s character where he doesn’t take shit from Garfield any more, I might actually watch it.

It’s kind of funny. He’s seen the movie, he can quote it, but he also missed the entire message of the thing. Or ignored it. Six of one and all that.

You see profitability, I see pandering and clumsy disorganization within a bushiness unit, leading to fragmented characters, with executives looking for short term gains rather than long term artistic, story-driven, cohesive storytelling.

They bought the company by taking $55 billion on in debt and now they’re cutting content to make up for that. If you’re going to overpay for the company, why are you immediately destroying it?  I hope every show currently filming is doing so like this will be their last season.
