Strollers have seat belts now? WTF? When I was a kid there was a frame, and a fabric sling.

That just means you’ll have to learn the pedal dance if you want to take your car to the track. I’m sure those serious about tracking their cars will figure it out.
I would think that this is more of a short-term reaction, and the track day organizations will adapt to allow cars equipped with these systems to run, perhaps with a mandatory and documented removal of a fuse or some other verifiable temporary fix. I seriously doubt this is a death knell so much as a speed bump.
Still not an investment. The actual definition of an investment is “An investment is an asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or will appreciate in the future.” per Investopedia.com. Unless you’re an Uber driver or something your car is not an asset purchased with the hope that it…
Looks like casting rejects mostly. They probably have cracks or voids somewhere, or got bent in the case of that wide wheel.
Yay for the Gallium Spoon!
You need to get yourself a breath box for your helmet. It deflects your breath away from your faceshield so you don’t have to worry about fogging it up at a stoplight. Best $10-15 ever for cold weather riding.
I’ve had the F&T Hoodie since it first came out (so, 5 years or so). I’ve probably worn it around 1000 times since then, put it through the wash a bunch of times, worked on my car while wearing it, biked while wearing a backpack with it on, and just generally beat it up. It looks like most cheap hoodies do after a…

This is my approach too, though occasionally I’ll skip straight to the good stuff if the Harbor Freight tools are particularly horrible. I went straight for DeWalt for my drills, and my wrenches are all 15 year old Craftsman stuff.
If I need more space up front I’ll certainly try that, but it honestly hasn’t come up. I can bring everything I need for a day at the autocross (folding chairs, cooler, EZ Up, Helmet, Tools, Fluids, Etc.) with no issue.
That problem is way overblown. My early first gen car has been driven in great anger and it is quite progressive in its oversteer, and only if you ask nicely. In most corners it’s quite well balanced, and even pushy if you’re not smooth.
Check out the AW11 for reference on how the frunk should be. I can put a moderately sized (though narrow) cooler in there.
Olympic lifts and Kettlebell swings can help a bit with vertical jump, but from my experience most of the improvement comes from technique improvement rather than strength improvements. I’ve found much more improvement from properly using my arms in improving vertical jump.
You don’t need the sous vide for that, just throw the bag in a pot of boiling water for an hour or so and you’ll get the intended result.
Roof racks can actually be useful though. I’ve brought full 4x8 sheets of plywood home with my Mazda 2 with my roof rack. It probably looked a little sketchy, but it was no problem at all. Totally with you on the guys that have the full bike rack setup and don’t own or ride bicycles though.
I feel like Canepa Cars does not met the definition of “the wild”. It’s basically obscure wondercar Disneyland.
I’m really sorry to tell you this, but Honda quite recently sold the Integra in the UK ... as a scooter.
The question I always have to ask myself is “Do I actually need this?” and if the answer is yes follow up with the question “Really, Why?” This tends to do a good job of not bringing home crap I don’t need, whether at the thrift store or elsewhere.
Just an FYI, Galvanizing doesn’t really work by shielding the steel from water, it works by using Zinc as a sacrificial anode which preferentially corrodes before the steel. This is known as an active coating (rather than a passive coating like paint) and it doesn’t require comprehensive coverage to be effective. This…
I wouldn’t say the Soundstage is one of the strength’s of the Grado design. For that you want to pick up some nicer Sennheiser, AKG, or Beyerdynamics. They’re great for rock though, and F1 motors oddly enough.
