A thing I thought was neat that may or may not be making it into the show, was the tragedy of Arryk and Erryk becoming the biggest hit song in the realm until “The Bear and the Maiden Fair” eventually comes along.

When that old dude was like, “Which one is Erryk,” that was all of us.

He reminds me more of Varys or Littlefinger, except he’s gotten to the point where he no longer has to scheme all the time. He’s been my favourite character so far. I could watch him be sad about being fired forever. I love his complete disinterest in his daughter’s life beyond what she can do for him, and him not

Less understandable, it sounds like you missed Helena’s big panic attack funeral procession scene.

It’s also worth pointing out that he wasn’t even a lord, and managed to be Hand for a long time across three kings. He obviously had some wisdom they valued.

Where was Helaena this episode? We got one teeny glimpse at her”

We’re 100% getting Sheepstealer, given how much Nettles featured in the Dance in Fire and Blood

Also from Tywin regarding that opening scene: “Anyone who needs to say ‘I am the king’ is no king.”

I see him as Tywin with way less money and know-how. He wants to control every little thing but is much worse at it.

I don’t understand what you mean about where is Helaena? She had a whole conversation with her mother and then was right there beside her in the wagon for Jaehaerys’s funeral.

I fucking love this show, and thank god Lestat is back, even for a little bit.

How does that douchebag Cole continue to fail UP so consistently?

Otto is a snake but he knows good PR.  He basically did the Emmett Till funeral and its a smart choice.

Corlys doesn't seem distant, he's just being vague to make a sex joke with his wife.

I have loved this stupid show for more than thirty years. I have seen every episode of every Doctor. If you want something that is not nonsensical, illogical, random, and cartoonish, then I would suggest looking for a show other than Doctor Who, which has, frankly, *always* been more fantasy than science fiction (as

This! Iron Man wasn’t even an A-list character within Marvel. He was just part of what was left because all the big gun had been sold off to other studios.

None of them are Iron Man level, by his own admission

When one bought the company that makes Yugos, one can’t go around driving a Mustang.

I used to feel that way. First started with Bloodborne, and bounced off it HARD. Didn’t even bother with Dark Souls, or Demon’s Souls.

I feel like this was true of the Dark Souls games, but Elden Ring is a lot better about not forcing those of us who don’t have perfect reflexes to grind.
