I think I found it through the news source up there.

I was down in Hollywood to see Samantha Fish on Saturday night, there were a bunch of very cool Lowrider’s. Not something I would do, but I respect the time, talent and money invested in them. Good thing the “No Cruzing” laws have been repealed.

Why not just announce a bounty and let other companies get involved as well? Whoever finds first, gets the cash.

Agreed.  If most of the Chargers/Challengers sold were the V6 (which, they were)....A Charger GT with the Handling package and a few options rings in at $40K (sticker, before any incentives).  I doubt that the SIX PACK cars are gonna be in the $40K range.

In about 4-5 months I’m sure they will be 10-15k off, at least.

I wouldn’t say it is “the” reason, but it probably is “a” reason for some people. I passed on buying a new Taycan or ETron GT, when I learned what the depreciation was like. I think for most people the biggest barriers are still price, charging anxiety (not necessarily range anxiety), and not having a way to charge at

Now that’s a fight I’m willing to fight for! I don’t know who this organization is, but they are overstepping.

it begs the question who does Trump think will buy these more expensive electric models?

People wouldn't buy them.

Yeah, I agree. It adds complexity for something that doesn’t seem like it would do much. At this point, people who are going to ignore seat belts are going to do it anyways.

Alcohol and brain injuries just bring out the person you’re hiding.

3AM. Inexperienced drivers, at an age known for “impressing friends/girls”. Really fast car.

I am blown away that leaded gas was still being sold when I first got my license.

Part of the issue with cheap cars is that they need to be self-maintained to remain cheap. Many of us have the knowledge sets and skills required to perform mechanical repairs but much fewer have the skills to work on EVs.  If the project requires the expertise of a legit mechanic, there are few who know how to work

You already do trust your life to a computer when you get on a plane- you just don’t realize it. It doesn’t take full automation for a hack to bring down a plane. Just look at what happened the 737-Max. Software issues were a key driver to those crashes despite having pilots at the controls.

The plane can’t complete an approach and land itself.

(In all seriousness, they think he may well have died in the landing. He jumped with a parachute that couldn’t be steered into the PNW woods at night)

Slightly off-topic but as someone who had a Diablo model and poster on their wall since the early nineties, silver has to be the worst color for this car.

> they are essentially entering private property to enforce a state/local law something they do not have the legal authority to do.

McRae was pretty quick from the word go. So was Loeb. I don’t know why you’d be surprised how quickly they get on.
