It was mainly consumers. The automakers saw the steady decline in sales of sedans/coupes, and the rise in sales of CUV/SUV’s

Exactly these are priced a good bit outside the typical Charger/Challenger buyers budget. At least the ones not buying the high performance versions.

two replica firearms”

“oh this looks cool and I can get a deal.”

LOL

Not sure what you have, but I just checked mine on KBB, I bought it used with 8k miles in 2020, it was a 2020 my car, for what I paid for is used, 4 years later I only lost about 5k in value, and it’s just a boring ass regular car.

That it’s a Kia isn’t really the issue. Look at lightly used EV prices across the board, a LOT are dropping 50% or more after a year or two.

Confused I wasn’t shitting on the F1 or Murray lol

THIS is what is putting people off buying EV’s. A one year old car that depreciated roughly 50% in a year. Like if you financed that thing you are MASSIVELY underwater almost instantly, great for used buyers terrible to people buying new.

It does 100% a Kei car, and Honda has one the Honda S600. If memory serves Big Daddy Doug has reviewed both.

Right I saw the CUTEST little hot pink Kei van going to a construction site near where I live it was so smol. Pretty sure it was a Daihatsu Midget Van

Fair, but needs governor disabled so if you want to be pedantic that’s not in “production spec” plus it’s technically hybrid, and still took what almost 30 years to do it and lets be honest the Aston Martin Valkyrie is BARELY a road car lol. F1 did it with 618 hp, Valkyrie over 1,000 hp to just eek by sans governor. Y

Fastest naturally aspirated car not fastest car full stop.  No non forced induction production car has beat the F1

Looks are subjective so fair enough. Over rated, not a chance. STILL the fastest NA production car, ever, what some 25 years later, and compare it to the contemporaries of the time, it’s still the most valuable of the bunch by a HUGE margin. The only thing that comes close is the Zonda and those sell at about half the

Lead photo is McLaren F1 thanks god it wasn’t part of the list, I didn’t want to have to fight whoever might have suggested anything negative about that car.

No it just makes a terrible vehicle.....fast. Though I did have a Durango ages ago as a rental, and it’s wasn’t terrible at least to me.

When he doesn’t get what he wants, he changes direction slightly and flies forward again.”

I mean it has some nice styling elements, but like every other EV it’s just 2 screens and an expanse of nothing.  But it’s not even just EV’s, a lot of modern automakers are doing it.  Just a screen and nothing else it just seems I don’t know kind of sterile.

Stylistically it’s nice, but I think the OP’s point is that seemingly every modern car ends up kind of featureless, it’s like big screen in the middle, big screen in front of the driver and like nothing else going on. Sure the materials and colors look pretty nice but it’s kind of bland.
